Lincoln Chase also wrote the Shirley Ellis hits "The Nitty Gritty" and "The Name Game" along with LaVerne Baker's "Jim Dandy" and The Drifters' "Such A Night".

Golden Globe winner Pia Zedora (Schipani) peaked at number thirty-six on Billboard with "The Clapping Song" in 1983 from the soundtrack of the film "The Lonely Lady" and her album "Let's Dance Tonight". In 1964 Pia was a child actress in "Santa Claus Conquers The Martians". In 1982 she starred with Orson Welles and Stacy Keach in "Butterfly". Her musical talents and acting ability was showcased in the John Water's classic "Hairspray" when she played the part of a beatnik.
