Bob Crewe co-authored "Big Girls Don't Cry" (Crewe - Gaudio) and this is his "Generation" with the big band take on the hit. Other than most of the Four Seasons hits he was almost responsible for "Tallahassee Lassie", "Silhouettes", "Lucky Ladybug", "Daddy Cool", "Navy Blue", "California Nights" and "Lady Marmalade".
The Four Seasons (Frankie Valli, Tommy DeVito, Bob Gaudio and Nick Massi) "Big Girls Don't Cry" is the lead track from the 1962 album "Sherry". The single topped Billboard. The Four Seasons worked under several other monikers including "The Wonder Who", "The Valli Boys" and "The Romans".
