Here is Swedish composer, painter and writer Hugo Alven's symphonic "Swedish Rhapsody No. 1: Midsommarvaka" composed in 1903. In the 1920s this was performed as a ballet in Paris titled "La Nuit de St. Jean". The tune played frequently in the 1952 Cannes Film Festival winner "The Stranger left No Card". Alven's nephew Hannes won the 1970 Nobel Prize in Physics. The track has been edited.

Percy Faith's "Swedish Rhapsody (Midsummer Vigil) was adapted by Mr. Faith in 1953 as the B side to the number one "Song From Moulin Rouge". This hit the top twenty.
