Sam Cooke's (Cook) 1963 single "Another Saturday Night" is on the album "Ain't That Good News". The song hit the Billboard top ten and topped the R&B chart. Hal Blaine of The Wrecking Crew is the drummer. Wikipedia: "On December 11, 1964, at the age of 33, Cooke was shot and killed by Bertha Franklin, the manager of the Hacienda Motel in Los Angeles, California. After an inquest, the courts ruled Cooke's death to be a justifiable homicide."

The Cat Stevens cover of "Another Saturday Night" was issued just as a single and hit number six in 1974. The tune was released on his 1975 "Greatest Hits" LP. Cat was born Steven Georgiou. When he converted to Islam in 1977 he changed his name to Yusuf Islam.
